All celestial objects found within our Solar System have unique characteristics based on their movement, surface features, atmosphere (if there is one), and locations in space.
Meteoroids
A meteoroid is a small rocky or metallic celestial object in outer space that is much smaller than an asteroid ranging in size from small grains to one-meter-wide. Most meteoroids are fragments of comet or asteroid debris ejected from collisions with celestial bodies such as the Moon or Mars.
