Class Participation
Depending on the class activities, you are responsible for completing weekly assignments, participate in class lab work and/or discussions, and check into Google Classroom on a daily basis.
Assignment Deadlines
You will always be given explicit instructions on where to submit your assignments. Assignments are usually due on a weekly basis on Google Classroom – the exact dates will always be found on Google Classroom. If you wish to complete posted assignment prior to the due date, you may.
Late Work Policy
Any good assignment or class will likely take a considerable amount of time. For this reason, it is highly recommended that you begin each assignment early. Work on it regularly over the week rather than waiting until the last day or two. This will allow you to have the chance to work out problems or get help in or out of class if needed to avoid turning in any late assignments.
Any assignments that are not turned in at the assignment due date will be put in the grade book as a 0 (even if a student is absent) to accurately reflect the student's current grade. Students may turn in assignments late; however, an online grade update form must be completed in order for the grade to be updated in the gradebook after the due date. However, the assignment may be subjected to a late penalty according to school policy. Grate Update Forms can be found within the Classwork tab on Google Classroom. All late work must be completed prior to the end of each marking period in order to receive any credit and may not be updated immediately, but will be graded as soon as possible.

Turnaround Time
The teacher will be monitoring Google Classroom on a daily basis. On-time submitted assignments will be graded and personalized feedback will be provided within 6 days after the module is concluded. E-mail messages will be answered within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends.
Academic Integrity
Under all circumstances, students are expected to be honest in their dealings with the teacher, faculty, administrative staff, and fellow students. Students must submit work that fairly and accurately reflects their own level of accomplishment. Any work that is not a product of the student’s own effort is considered dishonest. Please refer to the school and district policies for additional information regarding the policies on academic honesty.
