Academic Requirements
- The student is responsible to access and carefully follow course instructions found on Google Classroom.
- The student is responsible to carefully review weekly module content topics and complete weekly assignments, readings, lab work, and all online content activities.
- The student is responsible to regularly participate in class and/or online discussions.
- The student is responsible to complete weekly learning assignments by the deadlines.
- The student is responsible to complete and submit weekly assignments electronically Google Classroom.
- The student is responsible to create and update a science lab journal daily and/or weekly.
Course Delivery
This course will use weekly learning modules assigned and submitted on Google Classroom using the academic content provided on this website. The term "module" refers to a particular instructional standard/topic of study. There will be regular assignments for each weekly module that are designed to demonstrate your mastery of the academic standards, lab work, and instruction conducted during class.
Expected Course Workload
Students are expected to schedule at least an additional 20 minutes per day or 100 minutes (1.67 hours) per week for this course in addition to the regularly scheduled class hours. Students who fail to complete assigned school work during class may need additional time. It is recommended that students dedicate a specific time and place each weekday to complete their required coursework or study for science.
